Waltham 6-OS 15J adj. Sapphire ladies' pocket watch #22285072, lovely nickel split plate movement with raised jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) gold-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, bold black Arabic-style numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a few small spots of discoloration but no heavy scratches or damage, blue steel moon style hands, attractive smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) hinge back (HB) Waltham case with a fancy monogram in a circle on the upper-left back, possibly "PML", a fancy swivel bow, glass crystal and a small date inscription on the inside back cover "2-2-1922", this case was originally a hinge back & bezel (HB&B) case however the front bezel now is friction fit and the front hinge was instead fit with a small loop that can fold into a recess on the frame and will allow a band to be attached to the watch to wear as a wrist watch if desired, case is showing normal even wear with some small nicks and scratches on the frame and back bezel along with some small spots of brass & discoloration near the hinges, likely a carry over from the hinge work to add the case conversion loop, measures approx. 28mm in diameter x 36mm in length x 8mm thick (crystal included). A handsome, high quality vintage triple signed Waltham from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
