Waltham OS 15J grade No. 165 ladies' pocket watch #16824682, handsome nickel split plate movement with raised screw-down jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic numbers, red 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairline near 7 o'clock, blue steel spade-style hands, lovely yellow gold filled (YGF) fully engraved hunting case (HC) with crisp engine turning behind a scene of large floral & geometric patterns on both sides, one side has a fancy blank monogram shield near 6 o'clock while the reverse has a geometric line design, stepped bezels with beaded design engraving, deep vermicelli engraving on the frame and a heavy bow.
Case is showing only light even wear on the exterior with very little smoothing to any of the engraving and only a small bit of notable wear (but no brass) on the interior of the bow, there is however a small line of discoloration on the dust cover and some notable discoloration with some brass on the interior of the front cover, possibly from an inscription being buffed out or a cover-up attempt from a misapplied gold test, measures approx. 36mm in diameter x 49mm in length x 10mm thick. A very attractive vintage Waltham from the early 1900s in excellent condition overall!
