Bulova 23J adj. 8p grade 5AD ladies' wrist watch, case #845476, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels is also marked L2 for the manufacture year, champagne-toned metal dial with raised silver Arabic numbers and fancy markers has some slight discoloration and short light scratches near the center post but is otherwise mint, silver steel baton-style hands with pointed tips, impressive 14k white gold oval case with tall smooth polish sides with a deep scalloped finish to form the bezel around the square glass crystal, Bulova marked crown and raised fancy center lugs with an overlapping twist design and each side set with a small diamond and diamond-shaped extensions, case is showing light even wear overall with no heavy scratches however there is a small chip at one corner of the crystal that does not affect viewing the time, we can replace this with a new plastic crystal at no charge on request, measures approx. 14mm wide x 31mm lug to lug x 7mm thick (crystal included), fancy white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) expansion band with a crosshatch pattern on each segment has band tips at each end that match in style the fancy lugs and are each set with small crystals. A beautiful high grade vintage solid gold watch from the 1950s in excellent+ overall condition!
