Hamilton 17J grade 780 ladies' wrist watch, case #D06686, handsome gold-flashed nickel split plate vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with bold red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, white metal dial with raised silver Arabic numbers and ball markers has some small scuffs, especially under the bezel where the case has rubbed, and has a very faint light green hue, this may have been a luminous dial at one point however the material no longer has light emitting quality, slender silver steel baton-style hands with pointed tips, elegant white gold filled (WGF) & stainless steel (SS) square case with a narrow bezel supporting a fancy glass crystal with cut-glass decorative accents around the edge, Hamilton "H" marked crown and slightly raised center teardrop-style lugs with a crosshatch engraved finish, case is showing light even wear overall with some small spots of brass starting to show around the lugs and the frame by the crown, measures approx. 15mm wide x 29mm lug to lug x 7mm thick (crystal included), WGF & SS bracelet-style band with narrow horizontal segments and a vertical decorative pattern on both sides of the band, WGF clasp with safety catch and a WGF safety chain, watch has a wearable length of approx. 6.5". A very high grade and attractive vintage Hamilton watch from the mid-1900s in excellent overall condition!
