Seth Thomas desk clock with alarm, mechanical wind and set from the back movement has an additional wind key for the alarm, along with a pull/push button to start and stop the alarm, a toggle for Loud or Soft volume and a shutter that allows access to the movement regulator to adjust the timing of the clock, champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish has fancy Arabic-style numbers with a luminous finish, black minute markers and a register at 12 o'clock that shows what time the alarm is set for, dial has a few light scratches, bold black steel fancy cut-out hands, elegant heavy grained medium-brown colored solid wood square case with rounded side-edges and a large, brass-outlined aperture for the clock, heavy brass base finished with dark brown felt, white base metal (WBM) back cover on the clock and a domed plastic crystal, case is showing light even wear overall however there are a number of small nicks and scratches along the surface, a small line of red ink and some moderate wear on the back around the 2 winding keys, additionally the alarm itself seems to stick and instead of a constant chime when it is time to activate, there is a single "ping". A high quality and attractive vintage desk clock from a prominent American clock company in very good condition!
