Hamilton 19J adj. grade 982 wrist watch #J373024, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, metal champagne-toned dial with fancy raised gold Arabic-style numbers and a black-marked seconds register at 6 o'clock has a very light patina with a few small spots of discoloration, however no heavy scratches or defects, gold steel wedge-style hands, impressive yellow gold filled (YGF) rectangular Hayden-model Hamilton case with a smooth polish bezel, frame and back, bezel has narrow sides and wide top & bottom, which then connect to stepped-down rounded detail that hides the band lugs, high domed acrylic crystal, inscription on the back "Presented to Alf Halvorson by Moore Business Forms Inc 20 Years Service", case is showing normal light even wear overall however there is a small amount of brass starting to show on the crown and on the frame immediately near it, measures approx. 22mm wide x 34mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), interior lug width (band width) is 18mm, lightly textured grey leather band. An impressive, high quality vintage Hamilton from the 1940s in excellent condition!
