Benrus 17J model CE13 with day and date wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with raised gold Arabic style numbers, black 1-31 calendar markers, a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock and a day display aperture at 12 o'clock, dial does have some small shallow scratches, day aperture display has black 2 letter abbreviations for the day of the week against a silver background, heavy gold steel whip-style hands with a triangle-tipped silver calendar hand, elegant yellow gold filled (YGF) & stainless steel (SS) round smooth polish case with a rounded sloped bezel and classic extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall with a few small nicks on the front of the lugs and small patches of brass starting to show on the back of the lugs, measures approx. 30mm in diameter x 36mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), distinctive light brown leather cord-style band with heavy leather panels with white stitching near the lugs and buckle. A high grade and attractive watch from the 1950s in excellent condition!
