Wakmann 17J "Howard" wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, raised gold Arabic numbers and markers and a black marked seconds register is marked "Howard", dial has some very light patina across the right side of the dial but no notable scratches or damage, slender gold steel wedge-style hands, lovely yellow gold filled (YGF) & stainless steel (SS) rectangular case with a narrow rounded bezel supporting a heavy domed glass crystal and fancy narrow extended lugs with a kidney shape in profile, case is showing light even wear overall with a few small spots of brass and discoloration near the lugs and some brass on the crown, measures approx. 22mm wide x 36mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), vintage deeply textured brown leather strap band with tan stitching is in good shape but does have a bit of wear right near the case, we can replace this with a new black or brown leather strap at no charge on request however the new band will not have the elaborate texture detail. A high grade vintage mechanical movement watch from the 1950s in excellent overall condition!
