Hamilton 17J adj. grade 747 wrist watch #Y354584, case #S785106, handsome nickel bridge vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with bold red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with a 2-tone effect created from the matte finish outer ring under the raised fancy gold Arabic numbers and the bright polish inner section which are separated by a black imitation double sunk line, black-marked subsidiary seconds register, dial has some light scuffs and a few small scratches, gold steel wedge-style hands, attractive yellow gold filled (YGF) Hamilton "Beldon" model (marked) square case with flared sides, a narrow tapered bezel supporting a flat-top domed acrylic crystal, large crown and fancy sculpted tapering extended lugs, this case model opens from the crystal side and the movement is lifted up after unclipping from the crown which creates a semi-water resistant design, case is showing light even wear overall with some light scratches on the lugs, some small spots of damage to the edge of the crystal along with a shallow scratch across the center but no brass, measures approx. 27mm wide x 40mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), new lightly padded, lightly textured black leather strap band. A high quality, attractive vintage Hamilton watch from the 1950s in excellent+ overall condition!
