Elgin 15J grade 536 wrist watch #X136399, case #E273086, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with a matte finish, single sunk (SS) champagne toned metal with with raised gold Arabic style numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some notable patina around the edge of the dial, slender gold steel baton style hands with pointed tips, elegant yellow gold filled (YGF) rectangular case with a lightly curved back, narrow smooth polish bezel supporting a lightly domed glass crystal that steps down to a curved frame and short tapered extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall on the top and sides however there are some spots of heavy wear to the base metal on the back, measures approx. 24mm wide x 37mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), new Spidel lightly padded black leather strap band. A very simple and elegant vintage Elgin wrist watch from the 1930s in very good overall condition, perfect to wear daily!
