Benrus 17J grade 18AC wrist watch, nickel bridge-layout vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with bold red ruby jewels, distinctive off-white metal dial with a basket weave engraving across the surface, raised silver markers at 12, 3 and 9 o'clock are set with small faceted crystals, slightly depressed gold markers for the other hours, black marked seconds register, dial has a few specks of discoloration but no scratches or serious defects, fancy gold steel wedge-style hands, handsome yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) round water-resistant case with a coin edge engraved bezel with slightly raised smooth polish hour markers supporting a domed plastic crystal and heavy, classic extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall but does have a few small scratches on the crystal along with some discoloration from wear to the gold colored frame and bezel, measures approx. 33mm in diameter x 41mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), padded black leather strap band. An attractive and unusual vintage wrist watch from the 1960s in excellent overall condition!
