Jules Jurgensen 25J automatic (self-winding) with day & date wrist watch, mint champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, raised gold markers with black enamel inlay and a day & date aperture at 3 o'clock bordered in black, day display has white letters on a black background, date display has black numbers on a white background, heavy gold steel baton-style hands with black enamel and luminous inserts and a gold sweep second hand, impressive yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) cushion-shaped water-resistant case with a large, slightly sloped bezel around the domed acrylic round crystal and a fine-line sunburst engraving, smooth polish frame and hidden lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall but there is some light discoloration from wear on a few of the case edges and a few light scratches on the back from improper attempts to open the case, measures approx. 35mm wide x 41mm lug to lug x 14mm thick (crystal included), distinctive 2-tone YBM and matte black gunmetal bracelet-style band with graduated size segments of polished gold small links down the center flanked by larger-barrel gunmetal on each side, black bracelet-style clasp, band is showing only very light wear, total wearable length of the watch is approx. 205mm however the clasp can be adjusted a few mm longer or shorter for comfort. An impressive and eye-catching mechanical movement watch from the 1970s in excellent overall condition!
