Caravelle by Bulova 17J with date grade #11UTCD N6 wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, metal champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, raised gold markers with black enamel inserts, luminous ball 5 minute markers and a date aperture outlined in black at 3 o'clock, date display has black numbers on a white background, bold gold steel baton style hands with a black enamel finish and luminous inserts and a gold steel sweep second hand, the hands look to be emitting light however the markers look to have lost their light emitting properties, heavy yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) cushion-shaped water-resistant case with a textured bezel, smooth polish frame with flared sides and short heavy extended lugs and a white base metal (WBM) crown, case is showing normal even wear with some notable spots of wear and damage on the back of the frame, lugs and near the SS plate, additionally the crown is a replacement to the watch, measures approx. 36mm wide x 39mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), Spidel yellow gold filled (YGF, marked) & SS expansion band with wide segments with beveled sides is showing some brass on a few of the segments, we can replace the band with a new black leather strap band at no charge on request. A very fashionable, high quality mechanical movement watch from the 1970s in excellent overall condition!
