Benrus 17J grade BA2 wrist watch, case #649132, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels, mint single sunk (SS) off-white metal dial with raised gold Arabic numbers and markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, gold steel wedge-style hands, distinctive yellow gold filled (YGF) rectangular case with a tapered bezel and frame accented with two slightly raised decorative accents on each side and supporting a domed heavy glass crystal, fancy slightly raised extended lugs extend from the side of the case and have a curved top accent, case is showing normal even wear overall but does have some brass starting to show on the case frame near the crown and a few small spots on the lugs, measures approx. 26mm wide x 38mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), heavily textured black leather strap band. A very high grade and eye-catching vintage mechanical movement Benrus from the 1950s in excellent overall condition!
