Elgin (Swiss) 17J wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, mint champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, fancy raised gold hour markers and gold ball minute markers, gold steel wedge-style hands with luminous inserts and a gold sweep second hand, elegant thin-model water-resistant round yellow gold filled (YGF) case with a narrow smooth polish bezel supporting a domed plastic crystal and slightly raised from a coin-edge engraved frame which in turn supports and tapered extended lugs, this case model opens to reveal the movement by removing the crystal and lifting the watch from the case which creates a highly water resistant design, case is showing normal even wear overall with light scuffing associated with wear but no brass or notable damage, measures approx. 33mm in diameter x 38mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), new deeply padded lightly textured black leather strap band. An elegant and high quality vintage Elgin wrist watch from the 1960s in excellent+ overall condition!
