Baume & Mercier 6J grade 5100 quartz ladies' wrist watch, case #86732, Baume & Mercier (marked) quartz movement, gold-toned metal dial with a brushed finish and black text markings has a scratch line under the bezel however is free of scratches or defects where viewed under the crystal, the dial is not marked with hour numbers, gold steel wedge-style hands, elegant 14k (marked & tested) rectangular case with rounded corners, a blue-stone set crown, a flat-top glass crystal and a white gold finished bezel set with twenty 1.6mm natural diamonds, the case is showing normal even wear with some light scuffing on the back and a very small line of white gold just under the diamond settings on the edge above the crown, likely a factory defect, additionally the crystal does have some very light short scuffs.

Case measures approx. 15mm wide x 18mm in length x 7mm thick (crystal included), attached to the watch frame on each end where case lugs would be are three 2mm diameter 14k gold rope-style chains that comprise the length of the band, each side has factory connector points along the band length to keep the chains aligned and is finished with a B&M 14k marked fold-over clasp, band is showing normal even wear, wearable length of the watch is approx. 175mm in total length, watch weighs approx. 12.2dwt (movement included). This watch also come with a red velveteen box with a white satin & velvet interior marked Helzberg Diamonds; this is not the original factory box. A beautiful and eye-catching gold and diamond ladies triple signed dress watch in excellent+ overall condition!

Quartz watches have been commonly found from the 1970's to today; they are excellent timekeepers and easy to maintain, but do not contain the mechanical (winding or self-winding) movements that most of our antique watches possess. This specific watch has been assessed for running and setting condition and is properly working as expected. With this type of movement, you can expect the watch to keep at minimum +/- 1 minute per week accuracy, with many quartz-movement watches keeping accuracy levels of +/- 1 minute per month or better.

Prior to shipping, all quartz watches purchased from PM Time Service will have a new battery installed for you at no additional charge. Please anticipate an additional 1-2 day delay in processing your order for us to complete the battery update. While each watch will draw power of its battery differently, it is reasonable to expect that a fresh battery will last at least 1 year. When it is time for a new battery to be installed, you can either contact us for a quote on our current battery and return shipping charge, or most local jewelers will be able to assist you.

This watch comes complete with an appropriate, intact glass crystal; however, on request PM Time Service can replace the current crystal on this wrist watch for you. We offer new plastic crystals for most vintage wrist watches; you can select your desired choice from the dropdown menu below.
Please note that the average turnaround time for wrist watch crystal replacements will be two days from the placement of the order; however, we do not carry every model of crystal in stock and there may be a delay of up to seven business days as we order the correct item from our supplier.
